Google starts its authorised refurbished Pixel phone sale program with Cashify in India

Google on Wednesday (September 3, 2025) launched its authorised refurbished phone sale program in India by partnering with Cashify in which it will sell refurbished Pixel phones across 18,000 pin codes.“This program addresses the strong demand for our Pixel phones at an accessible price, giving Indian consumers a reliable and quality-assured path to ownership,” said Google. Google in its blog wrote, “Customers can purchase previous generations of Pixel phones, including the Pixel 7 and Pixel 8 Pro, at a fraction of the original price.” Currently in Delhi, only Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 8 Pro are available on Cashify’s website with a retail price showing ₹23,899 and ₹43,799, respectively.(For top technology news of the day, subscribe to our tech newsletter Today’s Cache)Cashify will do the quality checks of the refurbished Pixel phones and if necessary, use only genuine Google Pixel parts, the blog says. “Each phone comes in a new box with a compatible charger. For your peace of mind, a one-year limited warranty is provided through Cashify.” Cashify claims to make these refurbished Pixel phones available across 18,000 pin codes via its omnichannel presence which includes its app, website, and selected retail locations.As per Redseer report, India’s refurbished smartphone market revenues expected to grow to $10 billion by 2026.“As the demand for high-quality refurbished devices continues to rise in India, ensuring consumer trust and accessibility has become more important than ever.
